BRL/RSD: what to know
The BRL/RSD rate shows how much RSD you get for 1 BRL. Right now, 1 BRL buys 19.7222 RSD at the mid-market rate. In the other direction, 1 RSD is worth 0.0507 BRL.
In the short term BRL is driven mainly by commodity prices and central-bank policy, while RSD responds to euro moves and Serbian central-bank policy.
The Brazilian Real (BRL) is issued by Central Bank of Brazil. The real was introduced in 1994 to end hyperinflation; the plural is “reais”. The Serbian Dinar (RSD) is issued by National Bank of Serbia. “Dinar” descends from the Roman denarius — one of the oldest coin names.
Use this mid-market figure as your benchmark: compare it with the rate your bank or broker quotes, and the difference is the margin you would pay.
