currency-converter.live publishes the mid-market exchange rate — the midpoint between the bid and ask quotes in the global FX market. It is the rate banks use to trade with each other, and the fairest reference for everyone else.
Our pipeline pulls live quotes into a single feed and this site re-reads it every second, so the numbers you see are current. We solve every cross rate from that feed, which is why you can convert any currency into any other — including precious metals and crypto.
We are not a money exchanger or a broker. We never execute trades or move funds. We publish the number so you can compare it against whatever rate your bank, card or broker offers — and spot the margin they add.
Where the data comes from
Quotes are aggregated into our feed and copied into this site’s data file every second. The page reads that file live; nothing is cached for long.
How the daily change is calculated
The “today” percentage compares the current rate with the previous day’s close stored alongside the feed.
