Guide
What’s the real exchange rate, and why does it matter?
When you Google “EUR to USD”, you usually see the mid-market rate — the midpoint between what buyers and sellers quote in the global FX market.
It is not the number you get at a high-street bank or a tourist card. The difference, the spread, is typically 0.3% to 4%.
We don’t exchange your money — we just publish the rate, refreshed every second, so you can compare your bank’s offer against it.
