The 2,000 yen note
The Bank of Japan also lists a 2,000 yen note among its currently issued banknotes. It was not one of the three denominations redesigned in 2024.

Does USD/JPY show dollars for one yen?
No. USD/JPY gives yen per US dollar. For the value of one yen in dollars, use JPY/USD.
Must I replace a 2004-design note?
The 2024 redesign did not make those earlier notes invalid. Compare the correct series in the official guide.
